James Stafford, M.D.
For 28 years, Dr. James Stafford has been providing his patients with exceptional oncology treatments. Highly educated and well trained, Dr. Stafford attended Miami University where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology. He then attended The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed an oncology residency program at The Ohio State University Hospitals. Dr. Stafford was then appointed to a Fellowship with the American Cancer Society, which he completed in 1985.
Along with working at Panhandle Cancer Care Center, Dr. Stafford is on staff at three local hospitals. He also works at Baptist St. Anthony’s Health System, Northwest Texas Healthcare System and Central Vermont Medical Center, Department of Radiology.
Board certified by the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Stafford feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of his field. Thus, he maintains memberships in many professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiologists and Oncologists and the Texas Medical Association. Dr. Stafford is also a Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
In his spare time, Dr. Stafford enjoys scuba diving and mountaineering.
